“Uchimura Summers”, which started as an internet broadcast program in November 2016, is a haphazard and happy-go-lucky variety show that welcomes guests to be the MC on every improvised episode together with Teruyoshi Uchimura and Summers. Because there are no restrictions when it comes to internet broadcasting, the show’s laid-back feeling and atmosphere has allowed it to gain popularity, and it has become an unprecedentedly longstanding program broadcasted on the Internet. After the 10th year since its release, “Uchimura Summers – SECOND” has been exclusively aired on Amazon PrimeVideo as an original program. This is the 14th year of its broadcast.
Season 6 will start in November 2020.
In the first episode, the 7th generation of Owarai (comedians), who have been gaining tremendous momentum recently in the comedy world, will put their pride and soul on the line in an epic head-to-head comedic fight against the Uchimura Summers team.
